    Description

    This is a orginal Japanese (Good Luck) Flag  “武運長久” (Buunchoukyuu), a traditional Japanese banner wishing for continued military fortune and safety in battle. This particular Japanese (Good Luck) flag was sent by Matsuzaka Hiromasa (1884–1960), a prominent Japanese judicial bureaucrat and politician who served as Prosecutor General and Minister of Justice during World War II. The flag carries historical significance, potentially linked to wartime or military-related events.

    It is made from fabric, featuring bold kanji characters symbolizing long-lasting martial fortune. Such flags were commonly given as gifts to soldiers or military personnel before deployment.
